Located centrally between Melbourne's CBD and Melbourne International airport, the new Bell City precinct is a a 1,000 room hotel. Contained within this complex are Rydges Bell City and Rydges Residences, both of which cater to tourists and business travellers alike.

The hotel features 21conference rooms including lecture theatre, diners, restaurants, complimentary car parking & a large range of indoor & outdoor recreational facilities.

Rydges Bell City required Easyweb to shop fit and install nine Easyweb Internet Kiosks and one wireless hotspot capable of providing internet access to the entire site.

Internet Café with Easyweb Internet Kiosks:

Rydges’ nine Easyweb Internet Kiosks provide tourists, business travellers and other visitors with internet and general PC access, enabling users to stay in contact with friends/family, send files and information and browse the internet.

Packed with applications, these internet kiosks allow users to view documents in all the popular formats such as Word documents, PDF's, presentations, movies, images, spreadsheets and much more. In addition, full access to portable USB drives allows the secure upload & download of files to/from emails or the internet. Yet another great feature is the ability to switch the language the internet kiosk operates in to accommodate for international users. The PINcode-based internet kiosk is ideal where you have returning users over a period of time and have staff on hand to supply pre-paid PINcodes. PINcode operated internet kiosks provide the most cost effective means of providing interent access as it removes the expense of a coin mechanism and cash box. You simply supply a pre-paid PINcode to the user and they enter this into the login screen to start using the internet kiosk. PINcodes are available in 30 & 60 minute time values (custom by request) and are reusable until all the credit has been expended. For example, you supply a 60 minute PINcode and a user logs on for 15 minutes and then logs off. They will have 45 minutes remaining on their PINcode when they next return. PINcodes can be sold for cash from behind the counter, billed to a guest account or even given away free to special customers.

Wireless Hotspot:

To cater for business customers/passing trade with laptops, iPhones, etc, Rydges requested the installation of a wireless hotspot.

Easyweb Wireless Hotspot users access the internet by using a pre-paid card or via direct online payment by using a credit card. Users create an Easyweb Wireless account and are free to roam from wireless hotspot to wireless hotspot wherever they see the Easyweb Wireless logo.

Easyweb Wireless Hotspots are a commercial grade product that provide easy-to-use, easy-to-connect, simple wireless access to your guests with minimal fuss. Our intelligent wireless hotspots will connect users to the internet regardless of their laptop network configuration. For you, this simply means no guests complaining to staff about not being able to connect. And in the unlikely event a guest is having trouble connecting to the internet they can call us 7 days a week between 8am – 8pm on our 1300 support number.

By using Easyweb Kiosk for their internet kiosks and wireless hotspot, Rydges are able to simply and easily provide a full service to their customers. Our 1300 support number is available to them should they need solutions to any problems. Easyweb handles everything else.
