Kardinia Park Interactive Kiosk

The Legends Plaza, outside the main gate at Skilled Stadium, Kardinia Park, celebrates Geelong's rich sporting heritage.  To the impressive glass sculptures depicting sporting legends from the region, our interactive kiosk adds an innovative dimension, providing sports fans with information on the park, sculptures and legends.

The 42” outdoor screen automatically adjusts to ambient light and is secured inside an elegant and robust custom housing, ensuring high performance 24hrs a day, 365 days a year. Park tenants, from the Cats to the Aquatic Centre and the Kardinia Park Senior Citizens’ Club can access the kiosk via the internet, enabling the freshest and most up-to-date content to display.

KP Interactive Kiosk InterfaceElegant screen layout

The screen interface for the kiosk was designed by Studio Equator, easyweb’s long time design partner. The system divides content into three graphics-rich sections featuring information about the clubs who call Kardinia Park home, the park itself – including maps, and Geelong’s sporting legends.

The interface lends the kiosk a consistent and intuitive feel while also enabling certain text, graphics and video to be updated by park administration.

Sophisticated hardware

The custom design incorporates a bright screen which adjusts automatically to changing lighting conditions. The innovative glass and stainless steel housing ensures adequate ventilation and protection from the elements while presenting an enticing public face. And the robust fanless media player inside drives rich media content all day, every day.

24hr interaction

The kiosk enables visitors to access and navigate its content at any time of the day or night. On match days it provides useful information to thousands of patrons at Skilled Stadium and when idol the screensaver displays information about what’s on at the park and about Geelong.

Easy updates

The kiosk connects to the internet via a 3G modem to receive the latest updates at regular intervals. A sophisticated content management system means that text, imagery and video can be uploaded using a simple web interface. Updates are submitted to a central administrator and can be published immediately to the kiosk.

Full technical support

As with all easyweb products, we provide full technical support to park administrators and tenants. Telephone support is available via our 1300 number from 8am until 8pm (AEST) every day of the year. We conduct routine maintenance and monitor the kiosk for faults using our remote maintenance systems and we also ran training sessions and provided user manuals for all system users.
