Easyweb Wireless & Yellowglen - Melbourne Cup 2009

Easyweb Wireless working in conjuction with Fosters to provide the automatic delivery of the Yellowglen WHERE R U? iPhone application to visitors at the 2009 Melbourne Cup.

WHERE R U? - How it works

When an iPhone user roams into range of the WiFi Hotspot they are automatically prompted to download the application to their iPhone. The WHERE R U? iPhone application provides handy wayfinding, messaging and ‘Meet Me Here’ functionality to Melbourne Cup patrons.

Once a user has successfully installed the WHERE R U? application, they will then need to login into their facebook account. Once logged into Facebook they can send messages to their friends, arrange meeting points, and very simply say WHERE R U?

They will also be able to view a map which displays where their friends are currently hiding!

This is a clear demonstration of how Easyweb WiFi Hotspot technology can be adapted to suit almost any WiFi application.
