Bandwidth control – All connected users receive a portion of the available bandwidth i.e. each connected user has their speed limited so all users experience exceptional service from the hotspot – one user downloading a large file will not ruin another users VOIP (online telephony) call. Everyone gets a fair share!

Download quotas – All clients can be allocated a set download quota to prevent bandwidth hogs from downloading DVD’s and large files. This means no more surprises when your wireless internet connection has been throttled down to a low speed, or worse, you have exceeded your download allowance for the month and are being billed for excess downloads.

Re-usable pre-paid cards – Pre-paid cards supplied in reusable minute values with download quotas. Users can log in and out as many times as they please until all credit/download allowance has been expended. Handy ‘how to connect’ instructions are provided on the reverse of the card.

Secure - All clients using the wireless internet hotspot are isolated from each other so they are unable to connect to one other. Firewalling prevents any access from the wireless hotspot connected users onto your local network so installation onto your own network poses no security issues.

Why should I offer a wireless internet hotspot?

Wireless hotspot access is a simple solution for mobile users requiring internet access. If you are a hotel, you will benefit by more bookings from the 'must have wireless' travellers. Easy payment and authentication of users...

All users are required to authenticate to the wifi hotspot before access is granted to the internet. Authentication is controlled by a 'captive portal' which is a web page that automatically appears when you connect to the hotspot and open a web browser. The user then creates an account username and password using a pre-paid PINcard or simply makes an online payment for instant access. Pre-Paid Cards We supply you with all the pre-paid cards you need which you supply to your clients at a price you choose - We take care of all user accounting and pre-paid card generation. Cards can be sold for cash, billed to a room account or give them away for free to special customers!	Reusable MINUTE based pre-paid cards are perfect for users who need access to the internet for short periods at a time over many days, i.e. they purchase a 60 minute pre-paid card, log in for 15 minutes and then logout, they will have 45 minutes remaining on their card when they next log in. A download limit can also be defined for each pre-paid card.
	Non-reusable DAY based pre-paid cards are perfect where a guest needs continuous access to the internet for the duration of their stay, i.e. they purchase a one day pre-paid card and log in at 2pm on Monday. They will have continuous internet access for 24 hours (one day) and their pre-paid card will expire at 2pm on Tuesday. A download limit can also be defined for each pre-paid card. These are perfect where a user needs continuous access to the internet over however many days they choose.
Credit Card Gateway	Online payment processing gateway that allows users to access your wireless internet hotspot without having to physically come to you and purchase a card. Users simply enter their credit card details into the secured log in page for instant wireless access.

Installation

In most cases the installation of our wireless internet hotspots can be performed in a matter of minutes. We use plug-&-play technology which means you simply connect up the cables and power on for an instant wireless hotspot. Simply plug the hotspot into your ADSL modem router and plug the power into a wall socket, that's it! We do however provide full installation for larger sites that require a site survey.
