Easyweb Budget Wireless Instructions
Easyweb
Wireless Hotspot
If you are reading thi
s then you should be in range of an Easyweb Wireless Hotspot. While we try to make this service as simple to use as possible, there are a few things here to help you with connecting…
If the following instructions fail to help you can always call us on 1300 135 249!
Connecting is
as simple as…
-
Switching on your wireless device – check that you can see the wireless networks in range. If you cannot see any wireless networks in range you may need to turn on your wireless card, which is often a small switch or button on a laptop.
-
Look for the SSID ‘ Easyweb Budget Wireless ’ and select connect. You may see several easyweb hotspots in range so select the one with the strongest signal. Once you have successfully connected to the hotspot, you simply need to open you favourite web browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or the like) and you will be redirected automatically to a log in page. Please read this page as you will find useful instructions on how to use and the types of payment method available.
-
Upon log in you will be redirected to a Status page that shows your connected/remaining time. You can also use this page to log out and end your session. It’s a good idea to leave this page open and add it to your bookmarks so you can easily log out.
Loggi
ng out is as simple as…
-
Clicking on the Logout button in the status page. If you have lost this page then simply enter http://hotspot.easywebkiosk.com/status into the address bar in you browser. Then click the Logout button!
-
All sessions will automatically time-out after six minutes should you fail to log out.
Y
ou can purchase pre-paid cards from the location of the hotspot or get online direct from the hotspot using most major credit cards…
Minute based
plans
are always reusable so you can log in and out as many times as you need until all time credit or download limit has been used.
Day based
plans
are non reusable and last for exactly
X
days from first log in i.e. you purchase a
one day plan
and log in for the first time at 10am Tuesday. Your session will expire at 10am on Wednesday, exactly 24 hours later.
All plans will expire as soon as the download limit
or time limit has been reached – whichever comes first!
And please note that…
All credit card transactions and information entered into the Easyweb Wireless welcome page are
encrypted to internet banking standards using 128 bit high-grade encryption
. This makes it very difficult and highly unlikely that anyone would be able to view this information as it travels across the internet.
Easyweb will never store any credit card information that you have submitted through our hotspot on our servers. All credit card processing is ‘straight through’ processing using trusted Australian banking institutions.
Pre-Paid Cards – purchase from the hotspot location…
All pre-paid cards require you to register an account first. Use the CARD ID and CARD PIN from the pre-paid card to create your own username and password.
-
From the welcome page click on the PIN CARD SIGN-UP link.
-
Then create your own Username and Password - something easy for you to remember…
-
Enter the details from
t he pre-paid card into
t he Card Info field.
-
Enter your name and
an email address then
scroll down to the
bottom of the page
and click on Register.

Now you can log-in
with the Username &
