Own an easyweb Hotspot

Owning an easyweb Hotspot provides you with the same high quality, fully supported product as hosting one of our hotspots does, but with a different cost and revenue sharing arrangement.

Under this arrangement, we will:

  • provide an easyweb wireless hotspot at a cost of $999 plus GST;
  • provide range extenders where necessary for larger properties;
  • install the equipment (if required) at minimal cost;
  • provide ongoing technical support; and
  • return 60% of the revenue generated to your business.
 
Features
 
High quality equipment
 
We only use high quality, robust, commercial grade equipment. This means that unlike cheaper consumer grade products, an easyweb wireless hotspot will:
  • handle a large number of users at any time;
  • cover all of your premises regardless of size and building configuration;
  • not impact on the look of your business (our equipment is small and unobtrusive);
  • ensure that you and your staff are not confronted with unhappy punters unable to connect to the internet; and ultimately
  • increase your revenue and decrease your costs.
Intelligent
 
An easyweb wireless hotspot is intelligent (so that your staff and clients don’t have to be!). This means that:
  • clients connect to the internet automatically, regardless of their device (laptop, iPhone etc.) and its configuration.
Bandwidth control
 
All connected users receive a portion of the available hotspot bandwidth so that:
  • each user has their speed limited so all users experience even service;
  • one user downloading a large file will not ruin another users VOIP (online telephony) call; and
  • everyone gets a fair share!
Download quotas
 
All clients can be allocated a set download quota to prevent bandwidth hogs from downloading large files. This means no nasty surprises from your ISP such as a throttled connection or excess download bills when you have exceeded your monthly allowance.
 
Support
 
In the event of a problem, our friendly support staff will be on hand from 8am-8pm (AEST) seven days a week via a 1300 number to resolve technical issues for both you and your clients.
 
Security
 
Clients using the hotspot are isolated so they are unable to connect to one other. Firewalling prevents users from accessing your local network. And we’ve heard there are some nasty things out there on the internet, so we offer content filtering as well.
 
Fully managed
 
All user accounting is handled by easyweb so you can sleep easy and continue running your business. We do all the hard work!
 
Installation
 
An easyweb wireless hotspot is simple enough for you to install yourself. Or we can provide one of our experienced engineers (free or at minimal cost) to install it for you.

Regardless of the size and construction of your premises, we carry a full range of hotspot hardware and antennas to give good coverage to your entire site.

All we require for the master hotspot is an ADSL connection and power point in close proximity. We send power and data to the hotspot antenna over a single cable allowing us to place the hotspot hardware in hard to reach areas where getting a power point installed would be difficult and costly.

easyweb wireless hotspots are high powered wireless radio devices and provide much greater coverage than consumer grade equipment. Larger properties will require a wireless survey to be carried out and an installation by our engineers to ensure you get good coverage across the entire site.

Getting Online
 
Users of the hotspot service can get online easily using either an online credit card payment or a pre-paid card.

easyweb will provide you with all the pre-paid cards you need to keep your guests online.

Access Plans
 
Clients can purchase access plans (online or pre-paid) which can be used at any easyweb wireless hotspot.

Minute-based plans are reusable so clients can log in and out as many times as they need until all time credit or download limit has been used. Perfect for users who simply need to check emails periodically over several days. Typical plans are 60, 120 & 240 minute access.

Day-based plans are non reusable and last for exactly X days from first log in i.e. clients purchase a one day plan and log in for the first time at 10am Tuesday. Their session will expire at 10am on Wednesday, exactly 24 hours later. Perfect for the corporate user who needs full time internet access over one or more days. Typical plans are 1,3,5,7 and 30 day access.

Assistance
easyweb will provide pamphlets for your guests explaining how to get online and other useful instructions.

We also have window and wall stickers and table cards to advertise the service which you can place in rooms or common areas.
